Milk & Honey Adds A Global Attraction

Mark Wingett (The Bill), Director Matt Gambell and Nicholas Brendon

Nicholas Brendon is an American actor with a familiar face to millions around the world. He is best known for playing Xander Harris in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer alongside Sarah Michelle Geller. He also starred for 7 years in the worldwide TV hit Criminal Minds where he worked alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt before leaving to concentrate on the big screen.

His credits already include the critically acclaimed Coherence and we are incredibly excited to add him to the cast list as we know this will bring international appeal.

Nicholas Brendon Joins Cast Of Milk & Honey

American star Nicholas Brendon has just been announced to join the cast of Milk & Honey. We’re welcoming this news with excitement, and it isn’t hard to understand why. Milk & Honey has always been produced with the possibility of success in the American market in mind, and as a familiar face to audiences Stateside, he will boost the visibility and the appeal of the film considerably.

Brendon is best-known for having played the character of Xander on all seven seasons of the wildly popular show Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but has also been seen in other high-profile series, including a recurring role in the hit crime series Criminal Minds, and a string of appearances on the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Private Practice. Brendon also co-starred with Oscar-nominated superstar Bradley Cooper on the short-lived Kitchen Confidential. However, Brendon is still most recognisable as Xander, and has taken part in other Buffy-related projects, including video games and comic books. Because of this, he has a cult following among fans of the show, so it is really fantastic news to have him aboard for Milk & Honey.

We are confident of the ability to sell Milk & Honey domestically, because its main cast includes recognisable faces from British television: Mark Wingett, a regular on The Bill, and soap star Claire King (Emmerdale, Bad Girls, Coronation Street). With the addition of Nicholas Brendon, the picture can now boast of strong audience appeal in both the UK and the USA. These are two of the biggest global film markets, and without the asset of a strong American star, it can be difficult for smaller British productions to gain an audience in the States. Research has shown that the primary consideration for many film viewers, when deciding whether or not to watch a particular film, is the actors and actresses it stars. Because of this, adding recognisable faces to a film is one of the best ways to get it noticed in a particular market. Because of its smaller budget of just £355k, Milk & Honeywas not produced with the assumption of American star involvement. With that, it now looks like not just a safe investment, but one that is likely to bring in returns that are considerably higher than its small budget.

Final Tranche Of Investment For Milk & Honey

As we enter the exciting, final stages of production, we are now in a position to offer our clients the opportunity to be involved with the final tranche of investments for Milk & Honey. These funds will be used to complete the movie.

The news from the set is extremely motivating:

A number of parties have confirmed interest in taking Post Production duties, one having been an Assistant Editor on a series of an incredibly high grossing film franchise for several years. These highly talented individuals are the perfect foil for our film. They will provide the perfect finish and extremely high quality we expect in editing. It is an exciting venture for them as it will be the first feature film that they will be undertaking as Lead Editor.

We are close to confirming the rights too for our film score, we have two award winning composers vying for these rights, so remarkable to have people of such high calibre connected to our film.

With a budget of £350,000 Milk and Honey has always had the potential to recoup its budget through a steady stream of UK based sales alone. However, as with most real-life Cyber Crime there is a US connection, that runs as a thread throughout the film. Initially this was in the form of an oval office, but after recent negotiations with International Distributors, it was advised that there should be a greater US feel. This has now been completed and negotiations have intensified considerably. Now that this film has the potential to appeal to an American audience, we feel that this project has moved into a whole new investment arena. Opportunity abounds.

More exciting and in line with the American theme:” negotiations to bring a well-known US actor on board to complete our fantastic British cast for our final scenes being shot in Costa Del Sol later this month, are in the latter stages.”

We feel that this film has accelerated at the right moment and that it has the momentum to go on to be a fiscal success. Milk and Honey offers our clients a rare and fantastic investment opportunity, and the fact that they have already started in Post Production means investors won’t have to wait long to realise a return on their money.
We are in the process of raising the final tranche of investment for this highly credible movie. We expect this to be full within the next 8 working days. If you are interested in further investment information on this film please contact us and we will revert with a complete Investor Memorandum explaining returns and benefits.

Milk & Honey – The Movie

I thought you would be interested in a couple of photos from the set of Milk & Honey – The Movie.

The photos are taken on location at a rented mansion. While filming at a local pub, the crew created a bit of a buzz as they sported some very tasty cars. Cranes have been used to get some really amazing cinematic shots.

Short overseas shoot and a couple more location filming days and the film will be complete.

Post production has already began with a fast assembly edit which we are delighted with.

Please let us know if you would like more information on how you too can be involved in this film.
