Final Tranche Of Investment For Milk & Honey

As we enter the exciting, final stages of production, we are now in a position to offer our clients the opportunity to be involved with the final tranche of investments for Milk & Honey. These funds will be used to complete the movie.

The news from the set is extremely motivating:

A number of parties have confirmed interest in taking Post Production duties, one having been an Assistant Editor on a series of an incredibly high grossing film franchise for several years. These highly talented individuals are the perfect foil for our film. They will provide the perfect finish and extremely high quality we expect in editing. It is an exciting venture for them as it will be the first feature film that they will be undertaking as Lead Editor.

We are close to confirming the rights too for our film score, we have two award winning composers vying for these rights, so remarkable to have people of such high calibre connected to our film.

With a budget of £350,000 Milk and Honey has always had the potential to recoup its budget through a steady stream of UK based sales alone. However, as with most real-life Cyber Crime there is a US connection, that runs as a thread throughout the film. Initially this was in the form of an oval office, but after recent negotiations with International Distributors, it was advised that there should be a greater US feel. This has now been completed and negotiations have intensified considerably. Now that this film has the potential to appeal to an American audience, we feel that this project has moved into a whole new investment arena. Opportunity abounds.

More exciting and in line with the American theme:” negotiations to bring a well-known US actor on board to complete our fantastic British cast for our final scenes being shot in Costa Del Sol later this month, are in the latter stages.”

We feel that this film has accelerated at the right moment and that it has the momentum to go on to be a fiscal success. Milk and Honey offers our clients a rare and fantastic investment opportunity, and the fact that they have already started in Post Production means investors won’t have to wait long to realise a return on their money.
We are in the process of raising the final tranche of investment for this highly credible movie. We expect this to be full within the next 8 working days. If you are interested in further investment information on this film please contact us and we will revert with a complete Investor Memorandum explaining returns and benefits.

Mad To Be Normal Private Screening 13th October London

It was an incredibly successful night as Warrior clients got to view the Directors Cut of the film they have invested in.

The film’s Producer Peter Dunphy, together with the Warrior Film Promotions team; Jeff Clarke, Claire Lee and David Poole, along with Olivia Poulet, one of the film stars, socialised with clients in the upmarket Hospital Club in London’s Covent Garden.

The film was received extremely well by both investors and members of the press. So much so, that Warrior has now added a further date to accommodate the high level of interest. The exclusive Private Members Club frequented by all in the music, media and television business, is the perfect setting in which to host such an event.

The clients and invited guests were impressed; not only by the quality of the production, excellent script and authenticity of the story and character portrayal but also by the marketability of this film. This heightened interest augers well for investors as a film of this calibre is sure to generate pleasing returns for investors.

“Mad to be Normal” recounts the life of renowned Scottish Psychiatrist, R. D. Laing and his unique community at Kingsley Hall, East London, during the 1960’s.

One of the invited guests John Jolliffe, who knew R. D Laing by attending the groups he held at his house in Belsize Park, not only loved the film but Mr Jolliffe thought it was an excellent and accurate portrayal of Laing.

Transparency – How Do I Know I Am receiving My Fair Share?

Funds are collected and distributed by a ‘Collection Agent’. The collection agent is a third party company specialising in the collection of funds from the sale of the film. Nowadays many independent film productions work with collection agents in order to install peace of mind with their investors. The collections agent will supply a clear statement of funds, three months in arrears to all investors involved in the film.

Is My Money Safe?

YES. Your funds are sent directly to an S.P.V. that is managed by the studio. S.P.V. stands for Special Purpose Vehicle. This is a British Limited Company that’s sole purpose is to control and distribute all funds from the sale of the film. The primary reason for this process is to isolate all funds from the sale of Fish Without Bicycles from any other films or projects that the studio is working on. All funds from the sale of the film will arrive directly into the bank account of the S.P.V.

This ring fences all profits against any potential issues or problems the studio may face. Whatever were to happen to the studio in the future, your investment is safe and protected within the S.P.V.

How Do I know The Film Will Be Made?

In short – YES. A completion guarantee (sometimes referred to as a completion bond) is in place with Fish Without Bicycles. This is a form of insurance offered by a completion guarantor company that is often used in independently financed films to guarantee that the producer will complete and deliver the film. You can be safe in the knowledge that this film will most certainly be made.

How Are My Profits Distributed?

As you can imagine, this is one of the most popular questions we receive. The returns from the film are distributed to investors as and when the film is sold. If you are a SEIS / EIS investor the funds will be allocated to the SIES / EIS account and be available to you at the end of the investment term. However, if you are investing as a Equity investor then returns will arrive into your account approximately four weeks after they hit the studios account.

Who Buys The Film?

The sale of the film is handled by the Sales Agent and there are a range of markets that the sales agent will be approaching regarding the promotion and sale of Fish Without Bicycles. A rough guideline to the primary 5 markets are as follows:

  1. Theatrical Sales – Cinema Sales
  2. Auxiliary Sales – Airlines, Hotels etcetera
  3. VOD (Video On Demand, iTune, Netflix etc) – Downloads
  4. DVD – This is still a strong market place.

The Bromley Boys Is Set For Kick Off…

The Bromley Boys is set for kick off…..

A loner in love, a club in trouble, three nerdy fans and a mysterious note!

When your beloved football club hits rock bottom, what do you have to lose?

When all you have left is hope, you’ll believe anything!

The right film at the right time.

Funny , authentic and full of hope.

Itchy Fish Film presents, a Steve Kelly film…

The story of David Roberts, a fifteen year old loner and his love for the worst football team in Britain. Set in the 60/70’s; the film captures the lengths a fan will go to, to save his team. The friendships, the pain, dedication and passion that come into play when you are at the end of the line.

In an age where life has become surreal and disconnected, The Bromley Boys speaks to the heart. Football is undoubtedly the most popular spectator sport in Britain, and possibly the world, but as the stakes increase, there seems to be more and more of a disconnect and fans have returned to their roots in non-league football, away from the hype , pressure and influence of big money.

This is more than a comical but timeless anecdote of a lonely, teenage boy with an over-active imagination. This is a story about the true football fans, their dedication, passion and support for their club. It transports us back to a time where football was real, where money, star status and cheating had no place. This is about proper football and how it should be played fairly.

Bromley based producer, TJ Herbert read the book “The Bromley Boys”, and was so taken with it, that he called the author in Connecticut to ask that it be turned into a film. Wanting to keep the production as local as possible, the team embarked on a three week open audition period where the youth of Bromley were invited to audition for parts in the film. The standard was extremely high and part of the casting process will be featured as cross-over on a new E4 structured reality show called “Stage School”. The final selection of Bromley teens feature in the film but the main character of David Roberts is played by Brenock O’Connor (Olly in the “Game of Thrones”).

A production team with a genuine wealth of experience, a strong cast, and excellent script make for a winning combination. The intentionally chosen cinematic style transports us into the past with beguiling charm. The directors have recreated and captured the nostalgia of a bygone era with perception and accuracy.

“The Bromley Boys” is a really great script. It is hilarious, moving and well written. The dialogue is sharp, with real laugh out loud moments. I would associate this kind of project with movies like “Bend it like Backham”. – Victoire Velarde – Script Analyst

This is a film with a future!

Milk & Honey – The Movie

I thought you would be interested in a couple of photos from the set of Milk & Honey – The Movie.

The photos are taken on location at a rented mansion. While filming at a local pub, the crew created a bit of a buzz as they sported some very tasty cars. Cranes have been used to get some really amazing cinematic shots.

Short overseas shoot and a couple more location filming days and the film will be complete.

Post production has already began with a fast assembly edit which we are delighted with.

Please let us know if you would like more information on how you too can be involved in this film.

The Benefits Of Film Investment

As an educated investor, you would have noted that despite our dire financial times the Film Industry has exhibited consistent growth and demand. Contrary to the expectation; that the increasing ease with which movies can be obtained on a number of digital forums; would lead to a decrease in ROI, the opposite has, in fact, occurred. The Film Industry Investment potential has far surpassed most traditional routes as it shows no consistent correlation to the volatile functioning of the Global Financial Markets.

The latest technological advances have meant that independent film makers are able to produce as high quality films as the larger, established companies. Their ROI is great and their production costs and overheads way less. This poses an excellent opportunity for a symbiotic relationship. They need your money and they will generate great ROI.

As with all investments there is an element of risk, but risk exposure can be greatly reduced through careful execution of thorough Due Diligence processes. It would be wise to watch trends and maybe concentrate on building a portfolio of successes so that you are seen as a successful investor.

Although Tax Relief is often one of the main reasons for investors to look at The Film Industry; it should not be the deciding factor, as any proof that this investment is a tax avoidance scheme could disqualify you as a potential investor. There are many other possible perks. Below are just a few:

You may be credited as a producer.
You may have a small part in the film.
You may be given production progress reports.
You may be able to visit the film set.
You may be listed on the movie data base.
You may be invited to the premier.

Please note that only once the film is released in Theatre or on DVD will ROI begin.
